Health promotion in Denmark

The National Centre for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention was established in 2001. The centre is responsible for national actions in the field of prevention and health promotion.

Preventive initiatives are e.g. annual information campaigns, expert councelling to health professionals and gathering of information on the state of the drugs situation in Denmark.
