Legislation and Policymaking

Some of the Danish Health and Medicines Authority’s international cooperation is based on international agreements in which the Board is obliged to participate due to its status as Denmark’s national healthcare authority. This applies, for example, to tasks based on international conventions, regulations, directives and the like, mostly in relation to EU regulations.

The Board’s activities in international cooperation are a natural and necessary part of the Board’s activities, both for cooperation that is legally binding and for general cooperation.
